"Spider-Man 3" is unbeatable in its second run on the chart, outsdistancing newcomers "28 Weeks Later..." and "Georgia Rule."

AceShowbiz - Blockbucter title appears to still dominate film audience's attention as "Spider-Man 3" triumphantly holds its position as the top holder on weekend domestic box office ended May 13, 2007 for a great tally of $58.1 million.
Though the number is a hefty 60 percent drop from the superhero saga's record debut a week earlier, it turns out to be over six times more than that collected by runner-up "28 Weeks Later..." since the zombie feat only manages to pull $9.8 million in its first spin on the chart. Poor opening also afflicts another newcomer "Georgia Rule" which merely gains $6.7 million for its third-place feedbag.
Former champ "Disturbia", in the meantime, sadly has to go down to number four after scoring a decent gross of $4.7 million followed by Lionsgate's action comedy "Delta Farce" and Gregory Hoblit-directed thriller "Fracture" on the next two positions with respective income of $3.4 million and $2.9 million.
Finished on the seventh spot is Touchstone Pictures' "The Invisible" which makes its way to garner $2.3 million in its third run in the competition. Trailing behind to make up the top ten of the list are Disney's CGI animated adventure "Meet the Robinsons" with $1.8 million, Paramount Pictures' sci-fi action "Next" with $1.73 million, and action comedy flick "Hot Fuzz" with $1.71 million.
