"Disturbia" co-writer Christopher B. Landon has been assigned to pen psychological thriller "The Flock (2008)" for Warner Independent Pictures.

AceShowbiz - On the heels of the success he has gained in "Disturbia", screenwriter Christopher B. Landon is coming onboard to pen the screenplay of "The Flock (2008)", a new psychological thriller coming from Warner Independent Pictures.

Set in contemporary times, the project centers on three teenage girls who get accused of practicing witchcraft, leading them to endure terrifying consequences as a result of the ensuing hysteria and scapegoating.

No word yet on who will direct and star, but it is learned that Jason Blum will produce through his Blumhouse Productions with Steven Schneider executive producing. Perceived as a tireless advocate of independent film, the former previously performed the same duty in "Easy Six", "The Fever", and "The Darwin Awards", among others.
