P. Diddy Taking TV Producer Job

May 4, 2007 (2:52 am) GMT
P. Diddy is adding TV producer into his career resume.

An entertainment mogul, record producer, actor and rapper, can never have enough of a career. He thus is adding one into his career resume, which is TV producer.

"When I do something, it's got to be the biggest and the best. I'm really proud to be one of TV's leading producers right now and am working hard toward achieving a television legacy like Aaron Spelling," the star said in a statement.

And yes he does prove his words, giving hand at executive producing MTV's "Taquita & Kaui," which follows the lives of two girls who met on his series "Making the Band 3."

The project, airing Mondays at 10:30PM ET/PT, tells the tale of the twosome who didn't make the final cut, yet the deep friendship they formed and shared passion to make it big in the entertainment business has brought them to Las Vegas to take another shot at showbiz, resulting in unexpected and hilarious situations.

Coming up on MTV in June, Diddy is back with "Making the Band 4."
