Nicolas Cage-starred feature "The Sadhu" has been announced to enter production in India by early 2008.

AceShowbiz - Set to go to the next level in its development, "The Sadhu" will finally get itself filmed in India early next year, chief creative officer of Virgin Comics Gotham Chopra revealed to The Associated Press Friday, April 6, 2007.
A live-version adaptation of Virgin's graphic novel of the same name created by Gotham Chopra and Jeevan Kang, the project has already had Nicolas Cage as the leadstar and will be directed by renowned Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, whom Chopra said to have been chosen personally by Cage.
"We sat down and talked to him [Cage] about India and sadhus," Gotham Chopra remarked. "The story is very much set here and everybody including Nick loves the idea of shooting it in India."
Assigned to work on the script is Chopra's father, self-improvement guru Deepak Chopra, with Cage's Saturn Pictures partner Norm Golightly serving as producer alongside Gotham Chopra and Virgin Comics CEO Sharad Devarajan.
