Jay-Z has signed a deal to endorse champagne label Ace of Spade.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z is close to sign a new deal. The rapper who boycotted champagne label Louis Roederer Cristal because the brand distanced itself from its hip-hop clientele, is close to forging a partnership with rival brand Ace Of Spade, also known as Armand de Brignac.

The drink reportedly has already made appearance in the rapper's video for his hit song "Show Me What You Got." The deal has yet official, but Armand de Brignac president/CEO Brett Berish is already speaking about Jay-Z's involvement, saying "Jay-Z has always demonstrated the highest standards and finest taste, and we're honored to see Armand make an appearance in Show Me What You Got. Armand's unmatched taste and package are a perfect fit for the video."

This isn't the first time Jay-Z has loaned his name to marketing a product, as recent deals saw him advertise the re-launch of Cherry Coke, as well as a new color for the SUV.

In other Jay-Z news, the star has been the subject of numerous rumors surrounding his personal life. One of the most controversial is that claiming he paid Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott $1 million to keep his name off the baby's birth certificate and to keep quiet about the child they allegedly have together. A spokesperson for Jay-Z, in fact, denied the report, insisting "There is no truth to these ridiculous rumors."
