Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are being arranged to work together again in "The Wolf of Wall Street", Warner Bros. Pictures' adaptation of the upcoming Jordan Belfort autobiography.

AceShowbiz - Looks like the acclaimed duo from "The Departed" is about to have another teaming up. Variety has learned that Leonardo DiCaprio is being plotted to collaborate with Martin Scorsese again in "The Wolf of Wall Street", a film adaptation of Jordan Belfort's upcoming tell-all autobiography of the same title.

The project will be developed by Warner Bros. Pictures together with DiCaprio's company Appian Way with Alexandra Milchan to produce. It is said that Milchan, the daughter of famed producer Arnon Milchan, concluded to join the picture due to the Scorsese-DiCaprio combo offered by both studios even though there are no official deals put in place yet for DiCaprio to star or Scorsese to direct.

The film's story is expected to closely follow that presented in the original, which recounts the author's account of life upon serving twenty months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street. Though so, much of it is likely to focus on Belfort's relationship with an FBI agent who tried to make him an informant.

Assigned to pen the screenplay is "The Sopranos" scribe Terence Winter with Scorsese's Sikelia Productions being attached to produce. Winter, who won an Emmy Award in 2006 for his writing work in the series, previously wrote for "Brooklyn Rules" and "Get Rich or Die Tryin'", which marked the acting debut of popular rapper 50 Cent.
