New albums are entering the chart and some immediately sit at the Top 10, including the topper this week, Notorious B.I.G.

AceShowbiz - On March 6, 2007, three days before the 10th anniversary of Notorious B.I.G.'s death, Bad Boy Records released the compilation of his best pieces, "Greatest Hits". One week later, it debuted at #1 on US Billboard 200 chart with 99,000 copies sold. This is his third No.1 peak since "Life After Death" (1997) and "Born Again" (1999).
Indie rock band Arcade Fire that just entered the chart this week soars to #2 with the album "Neon Bible" at 92,000 copies. The chart topper last week, DAUGHTRY with self-titled album sold only 82,000 copies and therefore falls to #3. Akon's "Konvicted" then is down to No. 4 with total sales of 76,000.
One more "Greatest Hits" sits at the Top 10 this week. Gary Allan's best songs compilation occupies void no #5 with 70,000 units. Meanwhile, Relient K's "Five Score and Seven Years Ago" is accumulated 64,000 and enters the chart at No. 6. Indeed it's quite a steep fall for Norah Jones' "Not Too Late" that sells 59,000. From residing at #2 last week, it is slipping five places to #7.
Equally descending the chart is Fall Out Boy's "Infinity on High" that drops 4-8 at 58,000. Korn's "MTV Unplugged" debuted at No. 9 with 51,000 copies sold. Last in the Top 10 is Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" that slips five to No. 10 with 47,000.
The chart is pretty much crowded with new albums though none has broken the number 100,000. Total number of sales this week is a 2 per cent improvement from last week. Still, it is a 19 per cent down fall from last year's sale at the same week.
