Jackie Chan to Appear in an Ad Promoting LA County Sheriffs

Jackie Chan is taking on a new role, promoting L-A's Sheriff's Department to Asian-Americans.

The action hero actor will appear in a public service ad, shows him dressed in a sheriff's deputy uniform and stepping out of a squad car, and will urge potential recruits to join the force.

With his appearing in the commercial it is hoped that the low number of Asian-Americans in their ranks will increase.

Jackie Chan is a Chinese martial artist, action star, actor, director, screenwriter, film producer, singer and stunt performer as well. He is one of the best-known names in kung fu and action movies worldwide.
