AceShowbiz - No, she won't retire. She just wants to have time for herself. Kirsten Dunst is taking break from acting to study art.

The 25-year-old actress, who has been working constantly since childhood, is willing to take a majority of this year off for herself before returning to acting later this summer, playing the role of murdered aid worker Marla Ruzicka in an as yet unnamed movie.

On her taking break, the actress' publicist Stephen Huvane tells the New York Daily News, "Kirsten has been studying art, among many other things, as well as just needing some time off after filming and promoting several movies in a row."

What's new from the movie star is that she has reprised her role of Mary Jane Watson in "Spider-Man 3", which is scheduled for a release on May 4 later this year.
