Walt Disney Pictures has confirmed that filming on "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" has begun since February 12, 2007.

AceShowbiz - Able to run as scheduled, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" finally entered production on February 12, 2007 in Auckland, New Zealand for a six-month live-action shoot, Walt Disney Pictures has officially announced.
The follow-up of the 2005 hit movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", the picture once again is a joint venture between Disney and Walden Media which brings back the four principal cast members as the Pevensies as well as director Andrew Adamson plus producers Mark Johnson and Philip Steuer.
Apart from New Zealand, filming locations also include Prague's Barrandov Studios, the Czech Republic, and locales in Poland and Slovenia. Special effects are being handled by visual effects supervisor Dean Wright, who this time is joining forces withVFX veteran Wendy Rogers and the movie magicians at London's Moving Picture Company, Framestore/CFC and Weta Digital in New Zealand.
Rounding out the cast among others are Warwick Davis as the suspicious Black Dwarf Nikabrik, %Shane Rangi% as Asterius the Minatour, Vincent Grass as Doctor Cornelius, and Peter Dinklage as the Red Dwarf Trumpkin. Appointed to play the title character is Ben Barnes, a 25-year-old British actor who is known for his recent role in the stage production of "The History Boys" for London's National Theatre Company.
