Nancy Sinatra to Host New Sirius Sinatra Radio Channel

Nancy Sinatra said she will host a regular weekly show on the Sirius Satellite Radio Inc station and make available more than 1,700 songs, radio interviews and live performances by her late father.

AceShowbiz - Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of music legend Frank Sinatra, is giving hand at new job, radio DJ. The singer, who is famous during the 60s, has been tapped to host a regular weekly show on the Sirius Satellite Radio Inc station.

The show, dedicated to the music of Frank, is dubbed Siriusly Sinatra. The 24-hour, seven-day-a-week, commercial-free channel, will air recordings spanning the entire spectrum of Frank's career as well as other artists from the big band, swing and traditional pop genres, Sirius announced.

Besides featuring regular blocks of Frank's music, Siriusly Sinatra will also feature a weekly show hosted by Nancy, rare live concert performances, and special programs of archived material. On the project, Nancy commented, the station will have no trouble getting listeners given the stream of supportive messages the family receives from fans, many of them teenagers. "We're feeding a hungry public," she said.
