Shawn Levy is replacing David Goyer to helm "The Flash."

AceShowbiz - Need not worry on the continuity of "The Flash", folks for Warner Bros. Pictures has quickly tapped someone else to replace writer/director David Goyer following the man's recent departure from the project after being involved in for about two years.
The lucky man turns out to be Shawn Levy, whose latest directorial work "Night at the Museum" has successfully collected $225 million domestically so far. Said to aim for a lighter version in making the movie, Levy will oversee the writing of the new draft with a possibility to use Goyer's script in the development process.
The big-screen adaptation of the DC Comics speedster hero, "Flash" certainly will center on the adventure of the hero who has the ability to not only run and move extremely fast but also to use superhuman reflexes and violate certain laws of physics. Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are seating as producers with Levy likely to produce as well.
