AceShowbiz - Van Halen is the latest addition to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
The dysfunctional rock band surely is preparing for a reunion only to join the likes of R.E.M., The Ronettes, Patti Smith, and Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, all of which have been selected to be inducted at the annual ceremony, to be held March 12 in New York.
To be eligible for induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, artists must have issued a first single or album at least 25 years before nomination. Nominees are chosen by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's nominating committee and ballots are sent to an international voting body of around 750 "rock experts."
