Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron have both been picked up to star in "Tonight, He Comes."

AceShowbiz - Sure constructing a real high-profile cast, Columbia Pictures' superhero drama "Tonight, He Comes" has successfully added Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron into its cast, Production Weekly has reported.

Accompanying Will Smith in the lineup, Bateman is billed as a corporate public relations consultant who revamps the image of Smith's character in his effort to repay the hero for rescuing him. Meanwhile, Theron will play Bateman's alluring wife whom the hero is secretly romancing.

Principal photography on the movie is scheduled to start early May in Los Angeles to meet a July 2, 2008 release target. "Friday Night Lights" helmer Peter Berg is set to direct from script written by Vince Gilligan and Vincent Ngo with Smith, Akiva Goldsman, Michael Mann, and James Lassiter all serving as producers.
