Avril Lavigne has revealed that her new album will be titled "The Best Damn Thing" and will be released by April next year.

AceShowbiz - Has been hard at work in the recording studio, Avril Lavigne finally has her new album on the way. The LP, simply titled "The Best Damn Thing", will be released by April next year.
In a message posted on her Myspace webpage on Saturday Dec 16th, Lavigne described the set as "really fast, fun, young, bratty, aggressive, confident, cocky in a playful way ... all the good stuff." She, furthermore, also revealed that the album's first single, dubbed "Girlfriend", is due to be released in February.
On her new album, which reportedly includes only three slow tracks, Avril says, "I promise you guys will LOVE this record, it is my favorite one! And I can't wait."
