Britney Spears has reportedly turned to medication to help her get through her split from Kevin Federline.

AceShowbiz - Is Britney Spears doing drugs? In Touch Weekly said so. The publication is saying that Spears has turned to medication to help with her split from Kevin Federline and has been spotted carrying several types of anti-depressants in her purse.
It is reported that on November 27th, Britney visited the restaurant Dan Tana's in West Hollywood, during which she was spotted exiting the eatery with a glass of wine as she walked to her car. Sources claimed that while inside, Spears paid a visit to the ladies' room, where she plopped her purse down on the counter and in front of several witnesses opened her bag to reveal a bounty of pills inside.
"It looked like a pharmacy in there - I have never seen so many pills," the source told In Touch Weekly magazine. "There was a bottle of Paxil (an antidepressant) and a bottle of Xanax (for anxiety) that she took out and put on the counter."
While her partying habit and the speculation on her taking drugs may affect her child custody, Spears simply said on her Web site, "I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria's Secrets new underwear line! It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected. I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me. I'm just getting started!"
