Van Halen has hired 15-year-old Wolfgang Van Halen as the new bassist for the band.

AceShowbiz - Van Halen has a new bassist, it has been confirmed. The band has booked Wolfgang Van Halen to replace longtime bassist Michael Anthony, who left the band earlier this year.
Wolfgang Van Halen is only 15 years old. He is the son of guitarist Eddie Van Halen and estranged wife Valerie Bertinelli, and nephew of drummer Alex Van Halen.
Janie Liszewski, a spokesperson for the band, confirmed to TMZ that Wolfgang has already joined his dad and uncle for rehearsals in the studio. In other Van Halen news, the band has yet had a lead singer despite rumors that David Lee Roth might rejoin.
