"Gandhi" star Ben Kingsley has been confirmed to star in "Brand Hauser: Stuff Happens"

AceShowbiz - Barely reported to join the cast of mystery drama "Number Thirteen", Ben Kingsley has already added another potential role in his acting resume. The Oscar-winning actor is joining the likes of John Cusack, Hilary Duff, Joan Cusack, and Marisa Tomei to star in "Brand Hauser: Stuff Happens", a political satire feature coming from Millennium Films.
Here Kingsley is billed as a Middle East oil minister targeted by an assassin played by John Cusack who covers himself as a trade show producer. Production has already begun in Bulgaria with Josh Seftel directing from script penned by Cusack alongside Jeremy Pikser and Mark Leyner.
A prolific thespian of Indian ancestry, Kingsley earned his first role on the big screen in "Fear Is the Key" (1972) and later gained vast prominence through his stunning performance in "Gandhi" which gave him an Academy Award in 1983. Some of his notable film credits are "Schindler's List", "House of Sand and Fog", and "Oliver Twist."
