Uwe Boll is developing another game-based movie titled "Far Cry" with Wayne Beach re-writing the script.

AceShowbiz - Continuing his effort in making game-to-film adaptations, German director Uwe Boll is set to develop a new one entitled "Far Cry" based on Ubisoft's videogame of the same name.

Scheduled to start filming in May 2007, the project is expected to mirror the plot of the original version which concerns a man who sets out to escape his captors after being freed by an unseen stranger. Wayne Beach is re-writing the script originally penned by duo Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer.

Also the owner of Boll KG production company through which he often finances his own films, Boll last directed Kristanna Loken in "BloodRayne" that has grossed no more than $2.41 million domestically. Aside from "Cry", his upcoming directorial works are "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale", "Seed", and "Postal."
