Oprah and Bono promote a new line of clothing, accessories and gadgets, including a special-edition iPod, that will raise money to fight AIDS in Africa.

AceShowbiz - Oprah Winfrey and Bono are expanding AIDS project, hit the Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" on Thursday Oct 12th for a shopping spree to promote a new line of clothing, accessories and gadgets, including a special-edition iPod, all of which aimed to raise money to be used to fight AIDS in Africa.
Dozens of "(Product) Red" items will go on sale in the coming weeks by Gap Inc., Apple Computer Inc., Motorola Inc., Converse Inc. and Emporio Armani with portions of the product sales will go to The Global Fund, an organization that fights AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
While the Gap, which will debut its Red line in stores on Friday, will donate half the profits to The Global Fund, Apple will contribute $10 from the sale of each new red-colored iPod nano. The model, priced the same as its $199 cousins, goes on sale Friday.
