AceShowbiz - Avjet Corp. of Burbank, a Los Angeles-area private aircraft company, has sued Jennifer Lopez, claiming the singer-actress is late on payments for a pair of chartered flights.
In the suit, filed Wednesday Oct 4th in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Avjet alleged Lopez had not paid for two flights on Gulfstream jets from Farmingdale, N.Y., one to Puerto Rico on Jan. 26, and another to Burbank on May 25. Each flight is said cost about $16,000, and with interest the bill totals $34,241.
Also named J.Lo's husband Marc Anthony as another suspect, the private aircraft company seek nearly $35,000. However, a publicist for the celebrity couple says "the invoice was supposed to be processed by a third-party billing service and that the stars were targeted in the lawsuit because of their deep pockets and high profile".
