Child actress Abigail Breslin has been included in the cast of "Definitely, Maybe" which starts filming this week.

AceShowbiz - Still enjoys the big success of her recent vehicle, "Little Miss Sunshine", Abigail Breslin has delightfully landed another promising acting stint in her next step. The child actress is set to star in Universal Pictures' rom com flick "Definitely, Maybe", joining other bright talents like Ryan Reynolds, Derek Luke, and Isla Fisher also Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks who both have finally given their nods for the project.

Following Breslin's inclusion, Universal has officially announced that production of the film starts this week in New York City with Adam Brooks at helm. Also writes the screenplay, Brooks will be backed up by behind-the-scene team which include cinematographer Florian Ballhaus, production designer Stephanie Carroll, and costume designer Gary Jones.

As for the story, the movie centers on Reynolds' character, a thirty-something Manhattan dad named Will Hayes who is confronted with questions coming from his 10-year-old daughter, Maya, which then prompts him to explain his past relationships to her. Breslin will act as the daughter while Fisher, Weisz, and Banks are all billed to play the women involved in Will's romantic journey.

Breslin, the younger sister of "The Shaggy Dog" star Spencer Breslin, made her first step in film industry through M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs" playing the daughter of Mel Gibson. Her upcoming credits include "The Ultimate Gift" and "No Reservations" in which she appears alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart.
