Hugh Jackman has been included in the cast of an independent feature "A Plumm Summer."

AceShowbiz - It's just a month ago that Hugh Jackman got chosen to play the lead in "Carousel" and now he's already taken another new stint. The "X-Men" star has been confirmed to take part in an independent feature titled "A Plumm Summer", Variety has revealed.

Doing so, the hunk thereby will be billed alongside William Baldwin, Henry Winkler, and Lisa Guerrero to come under first-time helmer Caroline Zelder who previously worked as apprentice editor for Steven Seagal's 1998 vehicle of "The Patriot." Meanwhile, the project itself will deal with the aftermath of a famous puppet's kidnapping and two youngsters' bid to solve the case.

Hailed from Sydney, Australia, Jackman lately has been high on demand as he is also attached to play in "The Tourist", "If You Could See Me Now", and "The Lady from Shanghai", to name few. His next picture "The Prestige", in which he appears alongside Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson, is scheduled to hit theaters on October 20 this year.
