AceShowbiz - Turns out that "Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Man's Chest" once again has to draw back after its last-week triumph overseas as the throne now belongs to "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer."

Based on final studio data issued Monday, September 25, the German thriller has successfully garnered $11.3 million from five markets only to claim no. 1 on international weekend box-office ended September 24, 2006 and so, beats out the Disney's swashbuckler which this time managed to take in $7.3 million from 34 countries.

Though has to go down to the second place, with this fixed data "Pirates" therefore has altogether grossed $625.3 million internationally so far, thus can now officially refer itself to be the fourth-biggest overseas movie ever right behind "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."

Coming to number three on the list is Oliver Stone's 9/11 drama of "World Trade Center" after scoring $6.2 million from eight markets for a total $8.2 million followed by Disney/Pixar's "Cars" with a weekend haul of $5.5 million from 24 countries to officially become one of seven movies to pass the $200 million line this year. Rounding up the top five is last-week second runner-up "Little Man" which is able to add another $4.9 million it has got from 31 markets into its pocket.
