THINKFilm Puts Check Mark on
Movie

THINKFilm will be the North American distributor of Brad Silberling's character comedy effort of "10 Items or Less."

AceShowbiz - Seemingly refusing to slow down, THINKFilm has added one more project to be distributed under its banner after its successful attempt on "The TV Set" last week. Theatrical Head Mark Urman announced Thursday, September 7 that the company has officially become the North American distributor of character comedy "10 Items or Less", Brad Silberling's latest directorial and writing work.

In his response to the acquisition, Silberling excitedly revealed that he "couldn't be happier to start this partnership now." "It was always my hope that our film's rather maverick spirit would be matched by the spirit of its distributor -- so THINKFilm feels like an excellent fit," he remarked. "Their intelligence, selectivity and daring taste makes me feel like we're in good hands, on a picture whose independence we've jealously guarded."

Intending to open "10 Items" in major markers by the end of the year, THINKFilm will also partner extensively with Clickstar, a new movie and entertainment broadband download service, in carrying out a national marketing campaign for the picture. In doing so, Clickstar will release the film's broadband premiere while allowing subscribers to download it mere weeks after the movie's national theatrical launch.

A joint production between Silberling's Reveal Entertainment and Revelations Entertainment, "10 Items or Less" tells about a picky movie star who experiences a turn in his life after getting lost in an L.A. minority community when researching a role. Morgan Freeman and Paz Vega are starring with Isis Mussenden handling the costume design and Antonio Pinto composing the original music.
