Susan Sarandon and Chris Evans are in negotiations to star in "Battle in Seattle" which will mark the directorial debut of Stuart Townsend.

AceShowbiz - More potential stars are about to come to be enlisted in "Battle in Seattle." Production Weekly has reported that Susan Sarandon and Chris Evans are engaged in talks to take part in the project, a directorial debut of fellow actor Stuart Townsend who also pens the flick's script.
If the negotiation reaches a deal, the two stars then will join Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron in the line-up, and inevitably will make the movie a promising feature with star-studded cast. The film itself tells about an eclectic group of demonstrators who brings Seattle to a state of near-chaos during the 1999 WTO meeting in the city.
Also an Oscar-winning actress, Sarandon began her acting career in 1970 and has performed in more than 50 big screen projects since then, the latest being "Romance & Cigarettes." As for Evans, the hunk is last seen playing opposite Jessica Biel in "London." His upcoming films include "The Nanny Diaries", "Sunshine", and "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer."
