September 4, 2006 (7:55 am) GMT
Ellen DeGeneres and her girlfriend Portia de Rossi suffered minor injuries after encountering a three-vehicle collision on Sunset Blvd.

A car incident hit talk-show queen and her actress girlfriend on Friday, September 1, but fortunately the twosome only experienced minor injuries.

Taking place on Sunset Boulevard just before 4 pm, the car DeGeneres and Rossi rode on, a 2006 Porsche Carrera, experienced a collision when it stopped at a light in front of a Buick carrying paparazzi in pursuit of a shot. During the time, another Porsche suddenly ran fast behind them then slammed into the back of the Buick, creating a domino effect which thus hit DeGeneres' vehicle.

Based on the reports compiled by TMZ through an LAPD spokeswoman, the Porsche driver, a 52-year-old woman named Jeanne Werber, has been arrested and booked on suspicion of drunk driving. DeGeneres and Rossi were reported to both suffer back pain, but since it was a minor one, there was no hospital treatment for the injuries.
