Evanescence has announced that they will be hitting the pavement for a slate of dates this fall.

AceShowbiz - Evanescence, the Little Rock, Arkansas-based quintet, is back. The music group announced Thursday August 10th that they are going to kick off another world tour, with tickets for the North American go on sale August 19.

The trek, held in support of the band's second studio album "The Open Door", will be kicked off Oct. 5 in Toronto and finishes up on Oct. 29 in San Francisco. As of the album itself, the set has been slated to touch the market on October 3rd.

The first single from "The Open Door", tentatively titled "Call Me When You're Sober," is mainly about frontwoman Amy Lee's ex-boyfriend, Seether frontman Shaun Morgan, who checked into rehab last month.

All in all, "It's been two years since we stopped touring," Lee told MTVNews.com. "So it's been awhile, and I'm a little nervous, but I'm mostly just excited. By the end of touring the last time, we were just dying to write more songs and play some new material. So, by now, after all the recording and writing and creating, we're just ready to get back out there and play it and see how it goes again."
