Wu-Tang Clan announce U.S. summer tour plans.

AceShowbiz - American hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan has announced dates for a month-long summer tour that will include performances at San Diego's Street Scene, two Rock the Bells concerts and a pair of intimate shows at New York's Webster Hall.

The tour, held as a follow up to the string of warm-up shows they played earlier this year, will feature all the original members from the music act except Ol' Dirty Bastard, who died in 2004.

Slated for an August 3 start date, the first show will take place in Phoenix and then continued to the West Coast and heading east for shows in New York and Philadelphia before wrapping up on August 25 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As for appearances at the San Diego Street Scene festival, it is slated to be held on August 4, while the two-night stand at New York's Webster Hall is set on August 17 and 18.

Wu-Tang Clan will participate in a tribute to ODB on a bill alongside Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Redman and De La Soul at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on August 5, and the same show will take place the next night at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord.

In related news, Wu-Tang will also perform at New Orleans' Voodoo Music Experience in October later this year.
