AceShowbiz - Sad to say that the working on Tim Burton and Jim Carrey's film project "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" has been put on hold. Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey has sent the film, based on the adventures of newspaperman and oddities collector Robert Ripley, back to the drawing board due to its swelling budget, according to trade reports.
The film, starring Carrey as Ripley, had been scheduled to begin production in November later this year, but has now been pushed back indefinitely after its budget came in over $150 million.
