Scissor Sisters Set Date for Sophomore Album

Dance-pop combo the Scissor Sisters will get the party restarted with the September 26 North American release of its sophomore album, "Ta-Dah."

AceShowbiz - Scissor Sisters, the five-piece American glam rock band, have just announced the plan to release their sophomore album. Dubbed "Ta-Dah" the set is first of all scheduled to be released in North America on September 26 later this year under Universal Motown.

"Ta-Dah" will be preceded by the Elton John collaboration "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'," which will be commercially released September 4 internationally. In addition to that, there are also number of new songs that have been featured in recent live performances, including "Paul McCartney," "Hairbaby," "Everybody Wants the Same Thing," "She's My Man" and "Monkey Baby," but it is unknown how many will appear on the final track list.

More on the album, the group is said to have also recorded a song with Roxy Music vocalist Bryan Ferry. In the accompanying feature, Scissor Sisters will play a host of European festivals this summer, beginning July 2 at Belgium's Rock Werchter Festival.
