AceShowbiz - Funk-rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers tops the US album charts Wednesday May 17th, 2006 with their double-disc "Stadium Arcadium" sold more than 442,000 copies and so marking their first time to gain such attainment in its 22-year history. Meanwhile, top the Billboard 200 at 2nd position is Nick Lachey's "What's Left of Me" which has been sold for another 172,000 copies.
Meanwhile, the 3rd to 5th position is secured by Tool's "10,000 Days" with 157,000 copies, Jagged Edge's "Jagged Edge" sold 115,000 copies, and "Baby Makin' Music" by Isley Brothers on 111,000 first-week copies sold.
Bow at No. 6 on the album chart is Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang", just one place ahead of the "High School Musical" soundtrack at No. 7. The chart's rest best bows among others include Pearl Jam's self-titled album at No. 8, "Now That's What I Call Music! 21" by various artists at No. 9, and finishing the Top 10 is James Blunt's "Back to Bedlam".
