Former Blink-182 singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge has formed a new band that will hit the road Wednesday ahead of the May 23 release of its debut album

AceShowbiz - "When I realized Blink wasn't going to be happening anymore, I realized I had new things that I needed to live up to," Tom DeLonge, former guitarist of Blink-182 told Billboard.com while remarked further "I had no idea I was going to make the best album of my life." And thus, DeLonge came up with a great idea, which was forming a band.

Soon as it was realized, the band called Angels & Airwaves, will on Wednesday hit the road before shortly thereafter release its debut album, self-produced "No Need to Whisper," on May 23rd later this year via Geffen Records. As of its members, the newly established band consists of David Kennedy, a bandmate from DeLonge's side project Box Car Racer, former Rocket from the Crypt drummer Atom Willard and former The Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn.

Angels & Airwaves reportedly will hit the road Wednesday in Pomona, Calif., while also is slated to open a handful of dates for Taking Back Sunday. The first single from the "No Need to Whisper," entitled "The Adventure", is available through the band's Web site (https://www.angelsandairwaves.com).
