Ross is preparing to issue an extremely rare, previously unreleased collection of jazz standards titled "Blue" in June later this year

AceShowbiz - It's been so long that fans do not hear Diana Ross' voice. But soon in the near future, the long wait is paid off.

The diva is preparing to issue an extremely rare, previously unreleased collection of jazz standards she recorded more than 30 years ago in June later this year. The set, titled "Blue", supposedly was released in companion with the release of the 1972 soundtrack to "Lady Sings the Blues", in which Ross portrayed jazz legend Billie Holiday.

However, after the film was released, Ross decided to release the pop album "Touch Me In The Morning" instead, and it reached number one in the US.

Produced and arranged by the entertainer's longtime collaborator Gil Askey, "Blue" features four bonus cuts, which among others are "Easy Living," "He's Funny That Way" and Ross' take on the Duke Ellington classic "Solitude."
