Oscar winners Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman have signed up for an Australian historical epic to be directed by Baz Luhrmann

AceShowbiz - Aussie actress Nicole Kidman has been tapped by Baz Luhrmann to star in his upcoming direction. The Oscar-winning Kidman will be teamed up with Russell Crowe.
The duo is slated to do the so-called Australian historical epic, which Luhrmann would co-write as well with the help from Australian screenwriter Stuart Beattie.
Detailing on his project, Luhrmann said "We have some of the most extraordinary landscape on the planet and we want to get two of the most extraordinary actors in the world and put them ... in that landscape."
