AceShowbiz - The 1960s singing family band The Cowsills lost its lead singer William Cowsill. The star has died in Calgary, Alberta, on Friday Feb 18th, 2006 after suffering from emphysema, osteoporosis, and other ailments. He was 58.
The Cowsills is a great band. It has recorded a series of top hits between 1967 and 1970, including that of "The Rain, The Park and Other Things" and "Hair." Moreover, it also has inspired the appearance of the TV series "The Partridge Family."
