Ang Lee's "Brokeback Mountain" lassoed four prizes at the Orange British Academy Film Awards Sunday Feb 19th, 2006

AceShowbiz - The gay cowboy romance flick "Brokeback Mountain" scores great at the Orange British Academy Film Awards held Sunday Feb 19th, 2006. It among others lassoes the prizes for the category of Best Film, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Jake Gyllenhaal, Adapted Screenplay for Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, and The David Lean Award for Achievement in Direction for Ang Lee.

Chosen Best British Film is "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit", while Philip Seymour Hoffman nabs the Best Actor in a Leading Role award thanks to his portrayal in "Capote." Brought home the Best Actress in a Leading Role award is Reese Witherspoon for "Walk the Line" and chosen as Best Actress in a Supporting Role is Thandie Newton for "Crash."
