Mariah Carey brings home three throphies at the 48th annual Grammy Awards, including Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contem

In what less than everyone, including she herself, has expected, only brought home three trophies at the Wednesday event of the 48th annual Grammy Awards.

Was one among this year's top nominees with eight nominations, the pop diva secured the Best Contemporary R&B Album award for "The Emancipation of Mimi", Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance awards both for "We Belong Together."
