AceShowbiz - What's new on the street? It's about Rod Stewart and fiancee Penny Lancaster. The happy couple who has just welcomed their son finally comes up with the name of their newborn. Alistair Wallace Stewart that's how they call the baby.
Explaining on the chosen name Lancaster says that the Christian name Alastair was chosen because of its Scottish roots and Wallace after her grandfather, who died in a road accident in 2003. Apparently, the baby's name is the same with that of popular British newsreader Alistair Stewart, who currently hosts nightly news show London Tonight.
Anyway, the baby is Stewart's seventh child and Penny's first born.
