DiCaprio is producing & narrating "11th Hour," a feature-length documentary that offers solutions for restoring the planet's beleaguered ecosystems

AceShowbiz - Having played in several high rated films, Leonardo DiCaprio is now giving his hand at making a film. The Hollywood hunk is producing and narrating "11th Hour," a feature-length film that explores global warming and offers solutions for restoring the planet's ecosystems.

"Global warming is not only the No. 1 environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity," so DiCaprio said. "We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet," he continued.

Scheduled to be released in fall 2006, production of the film has just begun with shooting takes place in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The film will be co-directed and co-written by Leila Conners Petersen, Nadia Conners, and DiCaprio as well. Financing the film is investor and environmentalist Adam Lewis and renowned poker player Doyle Brunson.
