AceShowbiz - Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe is going to bring to live his love to rugby. He is in negotiations to buy a franchise in Australia's National Rugby League competition, officials of the targeted South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed, and the negotiations could continue for at least a month.
Crowe and local businessman Peter Holmes a Court want to buy a stake in the club or become outright owners, as the star confirmed to The Australian Associated Press "I'd like to buy the club. ... You're actually talking about rugby league fantasy stuff. Yeah, I'd like to be able to have a situation like they do in America - they have individual owners."
