Alec Baldwin gains PETA's Linda McCartney Memorial Award

Give salute to for PETA is about to honor him the Linda McCartney Memorial Award at its 25th anniversary gala held on Sept 10 in Hollywood, California. The event will be hosted by comedic actor, , and is expected to be attended by , , Andy Dick and Heather Mills McCartney.

Baldwin is granted the award based on his narration on a short documentary for this animal rights organization entitled "Meet Your Meat" which led to the policy changes at Burger King. The video was successful to persuade the fast food company to sever its ties to slaughterhouses that fail unannounced audits and to lend support to the Humane Slaughter Act.
