AceShowbiz - Step aside?! Rock quartet Audioslave is in hurry, heading a quick return to the studio to begin preparing for an extensive fall tour of North America soon as its European festival tour ends July 10 in Dublin. "It's healthy to constantly be writing and recording music. We want to keep fresh. Everybody has been playing great on this tour, and we want to take some of that momentum while it's hot and write some songs, record and then go back on tour in the States," commented the band's guitarist Tom Morello.
Exact dates have not yet been revealed, yet it is supposed to begin September 29 and run for two months. During the project, Audioslave will treat their fans with past legacies in "Rage Against The Machine" ("Bulls on Parade," "Sleep Now in the Fire") and "Soundgarden" ("Spoonman," "Outshined," "Loud Love"). What's more, the band will also perform material from Temple Of The Dog, in which Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell was a primary contributor.
