She's no longer a "Desperate Housewife" as she's been chosen as Woman of the Year

AceShowbiz - Teri Hatcher is no longer a "Desperate Housewive" 'coz she's achieved British magazine Glamour's Women of the Year Awards for her talent to combine motherhood and a career, while looking glamorous at the same time. In addition, she is also named US TV Actress of the Year for her portrayal as single mother Susan Mayer in the hit show.
Accepting both awards in London on June 7, the actress commented "I flew in today from California. I'm red-eyed, tired and drunk...I hope I inspire women to believe just how much can change in just one year."
Also accepting award at the same time is Usher, who gets "Man of the Year" award and Elle Macpherson who is awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year". Some other winners, include Patsy Kensit: "UK TV Actress of the Year"; Kim Cattrall: "Theatre Actress of the Year"; Sophie Okonedo: "Film Actress of the Year"; Mischa Barton: "Newcomer of the Year"; Gwen Stefani: "International Solo Artist of the Year", and many other.
