Linkin Park has separated ways from its record label Warner Music because of their different point of view towards the fate of music

AceShowbiz - Linkin Park will no longer record for its label Warner Music as they demanded to be released from its record contract, which both sides signed in 1999, claiming the company's impending initial public offering is enriching investors at the expense of label artists. Describing on their plan to break the contract, the band said their goal and responsibility to give the best for their fans, which will be difficult for them to achieve with Warner because the label is not devoting enough of its resources to promote the band.
Warner Music, in contrast, dismissed the group's contentions as a ploy and wrote a statement "We value our relationship with Linkin Park, and we are proud of our work together since signing the band as a developing artist in 1999. While Linkin Park's talent is without question, the band's management is using fictitious numbers and making baseless charges and inflammatory threats in what is clearly a negotiating tactic." Linkin Park, who still having a four-album commitment left to go on its current contract, was not available for comment.
What happen between the two? and how will they end their "dispute"? We'll see then.
