Pop singer Mariah Carey seems to more than ready to relase her new album. She's recently found herself at a downtown recording studio well past midnight, rehearsing with her band for shows promoting the release of her new album "The Emancipation of Mimi" which is available in stores on April 12, 2005 (on Island Records).

The best-selling female artist of all time is set to release her highly anticipated album "The Emancipation of Mimi" on Island Def Jam. The album has actually been indicated as one of the hottest releases of the year with international release date is April 4th, 2005. Detailing on the album, Carey said in an interview with senior writer Lorraine Ali that there's a lot of optimism on the record-but there's a lot of cheaters too.
