Bill Condon's Kinsey has successfully topped the Directors Guild Of Great Britain awards brought home the prestigious International Film Prize

AceShowbiz - Directors Guild Of Great Britain awards held on March 20, 2005 has been dominated by Bill Condon who successfully brought home the prestigious International Film Prize for his biopic about sex scientist Alfred Kinsey. This winning has left Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning Million Dollar Baby, Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, and Mike Leigh's Vera Drake empty-handed.
Along with Condon, there was also director Sam Mendes who got a Lifetime Achievement Award at the second annual London event for his American Beauty. To add, there were also Walter Salles' The Motorcycle Diaries that won Best Foreign Language Film, Paul Pavlikovsky's My Summer Of Love and Shane Meadows' Dead Man's Shoes who both shared the Best British Film award.
