David Letterman son has become an uncovered kidnapping target when the family were in their isolated Rocky Mountain ranch

AceShowbiz - David Letterman son and his nanny have been targeted in kidnapping plot, a 43 year old man used to be a subcontractor who had been doing some painting work at the sprawling 2,700-acre retreat in Choteau that Letterman bought in 1999, had planned to hold them for $5 million ransom. This incident happened when Letterman and the whole family were in the isolated Rocky Mountain ranch, a location which the kidnapper told his pal to know that the family will be visiting.
And the suspect, who at the end was identified as Kelly A. Frank, kept telling his friend that he also had a key to the house, knew where the baby slept and intended to kidnap the nanny "so that she could take care of the child." This unidentified friend soon reported Frank's abduct plan to the police, who tracked down him on Sunday and charged him of felony solicitation, felony theft for allegedly overcharging Letterman for painting, and a misdemeanor charge of obstruction for lying to an investigator who first contacted him about the alleged plot.
