Accused with felony assault with a deadly weapon, Courtney Love pleaded no contest in order to reduce assault charge

AceShowbiz - Being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon for she, in April 2004, threw a liquor bottle and chased a flashlight at a 32 year old woman she found sleeping on a sofa at her lover's home, Courtney Love then pleaded no contest just to reduce the charge. In the deal with the prosecutor, Love agreed such compensations as anger management counseling, random drug testing and three years' probation all of which seem fair enough to make up the incident she had caused.
In the second case for which she was charged with two felony drug possession counts due to her possession of a forged prescription and the drug oxycodone police found in her home in October 2003, Love was sent to 18 months' probation and ordered to continue with a drug rehabilitation program.
Love's lawyer, Howard Weitzman said that his client had "turned her life around," and she was "clean and sober," that she had regained custody of her daughter Frances Bean, and was writing and performing music with her band again. Welcome home Love.
