Swank won the 11th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for the best-actress prize for "Million Dollar Baby"

AceShowbiz - Saturday, February 5th, 2005 has become a happy day for such actors and actresses as Hilary Swank, Jamie Foxx and Cate Blanchett, all of whom won the 11th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) held in Los Angeles.

In that event, Swank successfully won best actress award for her performance as a female boxer in Clint Eastwood�s Million Dollar Baby. Jamie Foxx, in addition, has won SAG's Best Actor trophy for his role as Ray Charles in the biopic Ray and there was also Cate Blanchett who won Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator.

Some others won the SGAs award are Teri Hatcher, who won best actress in a TV comedy series for her performance on Desperate Housewives and there was Morgan Freeman to take the best supporting actor award for playing a prizefighter turned gym manager in Million Dollar Baby.
